Google Science Fair 2011

Google Global Science Fair 2011 is a global science competition, launched on 11th January, 2011 with the collaboration of National Geographic, Scientific American, CERN, and LEGO. The competition is designed with an aim to find out students with extensive scientific skills and talents thereby Google is giving an opening to those who are fervent to present their own talent through their own creative hypnosis, research, test, and conclusions. The competition is scheduled for call entries by 4th April, the competition is opened for student aged between 13-18, since the whole competition is divided into three age categories, 13-14, 15-16, and 17-18, so if your age is between 13-18 you may contribute in the competition. Google is awarding 12 prizes for the winners, two grand prizes are a trip to the Galapagos for 10 days in which a National Geographic Explore will be accompanying you throughout the trip and the second grand prize is a Google scholarship worth $50k.

How to enter in Google Global Science Fair 2011

You may contribute individually or in a group of two or three members, in order to enter into Google Global Science Fair follow three steps given below.

             Go to Google Global Science Fair 2011 competition website, fill up all the necessary details, provide valid information and wait for the confirmation link. The confirmation link will be directing you to the Google project submission server.

             At Google project submission website you need to submit your project, conduct the experiment, write down the details of your science project, and give a reference along with your own conclusions.

             After jotting down all details of your project you have to create a short 20 minute video or simply prepare a 20 slide presentation for giving a short overview. This part is compulsory make sure you to provide brief yet powerful review of your science project. Once you are done, check out your details again and press the submit button and here you go.
